dj-bb: Halloween Mix Episode 40
1 After The Love Rio ( Rico Bernasconi Remix )
Greetings All, This latest Mix was recorded Live Halloween Night at a party held in Scottsdale AZ. What an amazing night. Brad and Scott, thank you so much for the opportunity to spin at your party. You house was amazing, and the crowd was pumped. I think there had to be at least three hundred people there. This set was one of the hardest sets I have ever done. So if you like your music hard, grungy, and full of electro beets you’re going to love this mix. Please let me know what you think. I am always open to your feedback good or bad. I would really appreciate it. dj-bb dj-bb: Wake up Episode 39![]() October 28, 2009 09:30 AM PDT

Sorry for the long delay! I was out of the Country for three weeks. During that time I was able to play at a great party in Brugge Belgium. What an amazing Night! You rock Natacha! I am not sure how many people were there but the place was slamming. It was a great club and amazing atmosphere and killer sound system. This is the mix set I did that Night. I hope you all enjoy it! I am glad you had an Amazing Birth Day. I love you! If you like what you hear, tell a friend! Better Yet tell two! dj-bb |
Podcast SummaryDirty Electro Funky House music spun by dj-bb About BrianHello, Thank you for visiting my Podcast at PodOmatic.com. My name is Brian Bouffard. My interest in djing began, when I first set foot in a night club. There was something about the love and community feeling of a dance floor. The way music accompanies and enhance life. I have always found music to be an amazing way to remember and enhance my life. For me music has always had the power to trigger emotions and memories. Just by listening to a song from my past I can quickly be brought back to the memories of what I was doing when I first heard the song. I was lucky to have a friend who took me under his wing and teach me the in’s and outs of beat mixing records. After, saving for quite some time I bought my first set of Technics SL-1200’s at the age of 18. At that time house music was sweeping its way across the south west. I quickly fell in love with any track off of Tribal UK and Tribal America record label. My style mostly consisted of tribal and diva house. But I was quickly inspired by break beat and just fell in love with the style. Still to this day I have a big soft spot in my heart for a banging breaks! In the last few years my style has begun to move towards the Electro style. There is something about the grungy dirty baselines with a funky flare just sends shivers down my spine. If you have a love of music, then we are in one of the most exciting times. I know that there are a lot of Dj purists out there that would rather be shot than to not use Vinyl. I too was of that mind set! I have used both Vinyl and CD’s to mix with. Still to this day there is nothing quite like the sound and feel of Vinyl. Now with the days of the power pc and some amazing software you can have the best of both worlds at the touch of your finger tips. Long gone are the days of having to carry three to four crates to your gigs. Now by using one of the most revolutionary software out there Ableton Live gives you the power of the professional record producers at the click of a mouse. If you have not yet tried Ableton Live you should give it a try! It’s an amazing application that gives you more creative freedom then I ever thought possible. I know there are individuals out there that think Ableton is cheating. But I have to say, Yes the software makes it easier for you to beat match, but there is more to being a good dj than just having beats line up. It’s the art of manipulating and timing music to control the energy of the crowd that makes an amazing Dj. There is no better feeling than to be behind the decks and see the crowed go crazy! Please feel free to listen and download any of my Mixed sets, I would like to request that if you hear something in one of my episode that you like, please help support the artist by purchase the tracks and not just download them. I know it’s tempting but these musician deserve to be paid for their efforts and passion. All of my mixes are for personal listening. These sets are not to be broadcasted or sold. They are for promotion use only. If you like what you hear here please feel free to send me some feedback. I welcome all comments, good or bad. Please sign my guest book and let me know what you think. Tell a friend, better yet tell two. Sincerely, dj-bb
